Here's a fact for you:

Data compiled by the US Department of Agriculture reveals that since the 1940s the mineral levels in fruits, vegetables,
meat and dairy have declined substantially in commercially produced foods. Think about this; along with earlier
(pre-ripened) picking, longer storage and more processing of crops, is it any wonder that we're getting fewer nutrients
in our food than we were 60 or 70 years ago?

Chemical fertilizers used by commercial growers produces lush growth by swelling produce with more water.
On a per-weight basis, organic food has more "dry matter" (i.e. real food). Partly because of this organically grown
foods contain higher levels of nutrients. In fact, we tested the food from the local "poison centers" (not to many any
one grocery chain) and we found 3-6 minerals tops. Then we tested the local health food store and found 14-20
minerals in the vegetables. Taking things a step further, we checked out local organic farmers and found a
broad range in the nutrient density depending upon the farm. Furthermore, we found the use of high quality,
but slower release of nutrients such as green sand additives, seaweed, etc., varied greatly from one farm to the
other. It was then time to test the food we grow here at Backyard Farm and we scored big on the brix chart. The
food was heavier, tastier, and stored for longer periods of time.

Organically grown foods are found to be much higher in antioxidants - another great benefit to you and your family.

His long term solution to our ever increasing, ever younger, lifestyle illnesses is to:

1) improve the soils (remineralization, elimination of toxic chemicals on the crops),
2) process the food so that it retains more nutrients using less chemical additives during the process,
3) and proceed with genetical engineering in a more prudent manner with better testing and regulation prior to consumer consumption.

The short term solution is:
